Southern California World Service Area Blogs Introduction
May 19th, 2006Welcome to the initial page of the Southern California World Service Area interactive Web Log or Blog for those of you who are more familiar with this sort of technology.
What this is for: Each facilitator will have their own Blog. This facilitator’s Blog will then appear to the left in the Blog List.
How it Works: An facilitator will administrate their Blog for the action committee topic. The facilitator will post their report for all to read. GRs, DRs, and interested members will post their comments and responses. The facilitator could post again and more comments could be elicited. Questions could be answered, and issues could be discussed and distilled outside the assembly meetings.
What will it do for us? This is intended to improve communications between the service board and the membership. For example:
· Reports could then be available quickly
· Increase participation form the membership
· Provide greater information and knowledge transfer for our trusted servants.
I believe this could make committee meetings and assembly meetings more relevant to a broader membership. I also believe that we could have greater consensus when deciding on issues.
For me God is in charge, we will take the footsteps and review the results.
