Service Meetings
- Area Assemblies – 2/year, 3rd Saturday in May & November
- Area Committee – 2/year, 3rd Saturday in February & August
- Board Meetings – 2/year - at least, a month prior to the Area Committee meeting
- Sharing of Service [S.O.S.] – 3rd Saturday in January
- PRAASA 1st weekend in March, location rotating among the region's areas
- SWRDM - 2nd weekend in March, location rotating among the region's areas
Annual Conventions

Convention - Held in March / April
- SCAC - So-Cal. Alateen Conference held in June
- Southern California AA Convention, with Al-Anon/Alateen Participation is held September / October
Southwest Regional Service Seminar [RSS]
- Organized by WSO in conjunction with a local Host Committee, location rotates among the region’s states
Longtimers Meeting
- Organized by the Area Archives Coordinator in the last year of 3-yr. term, 3rd Saturday in September
